General information

The following provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on data privacy can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for the data collected on this website?

The website operator is responsible for any data processing on this website. Their contact details can be found in the legal notice of this website.

How do we collect data about you?

Your data is collected by you providing it to us. For example, data that you enter in a contact form.

Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This mainly concerns technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system and the time of viewing the page). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website can be made available without errors. Other data may be used to analyse user behaviour.

What rights do you have concerning your data?

You have the right to receive details about your stored personal data's origin, recipients and purpose. You have a right to the details free of charge and at any time. You also have the right to request correction, blocking or deletion of the data. You may contact us at any time regarding this and any other queries about data privacy at the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

You also have the right to request, in certain circumstances, restrictions on the processing of your personal data. For details, please refer to the "Right to restrict processing" section of the privacy policy.

2. General information and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, different types of personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We draw your attention to the fact that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communicating by email) does have security risks. Full protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the data controller

The data controller for this website is:

superview GmbH
Hauptstraße 22
D-59469 Ense, Germany

Telephone: 02939-98760-0
Email: info@superview.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Withdrawing your consent to data processing

Much data processing is possible only with your explicit consent. At any time, you can withdraw consent that you have already given. A simple email sent to us will be sufficient to do this. The legality of the data processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal of consent.

Right to object to the collection of data in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is being performed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will stop processing your relevant personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).

Where your personal data is being processed for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of such marketing; this also applies to profiling where it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will then no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where they usually reside, their place of work or the place of the alleged breach. The right of appeal does not preclude any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, given to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the data to be transferred directly to another controller, this will be done only insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL and/or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the address line of the browser changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL and/or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion and correction

Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. To do this, as well as for any other queries on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. The right to restrict processing is available under the following circumstances:

  • We will usually need time to check any disputes you may have about the accuracy of the personal data we hold about you. For the duration of the check, you have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data.
  • If your personal data was/is being processed unlawfully, you can request restrictions on the processing of your data rather than deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or enforce legal claims, you have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data rather than deletion.
  • If you have submitted an objection in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, the interests of both you and we need to be considered. Until it has been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data may only be processed – apart from being stored – with your consent or for asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or for protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Objection to advertising emails

The use of contact data published as part of the German legal notice (Impressum) obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested is hereby prohibited. The operators of the site expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam emails.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies

Server log files

The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system in use
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request
  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – server log files therefore need to be recorded.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact details you have provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up enquiries. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. A simple email sent to us will be sufficient to do this. Legitimate data processing operations carried out until the revocation remain unaffected by the revocation.

We retain the data you enter in the contact form until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Binding legal provisions, especially retention periods, remain unaffected.

Enquiries by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided that your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is required for carrying out pre-contractual actions. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us.

We retain the data you send us via contact enquiries until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

4. Plugins and tools

YouTube with enhanced data protection

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in advanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode will prevent YouTube from storing information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the extended data protection mode does not necessarily exclude the transfer of data to YouTube partners. For example, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube's servers will be established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. This can be prevented by you logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube can also save a variety of cookies on your device after you start a video. These cookies enable YouTube to obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, for example, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

Other data processing operations, over which we have no control, may also be triggered after the start of a YouTube video.

YouTube is used in the interests of appropriately presenting our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

For more information on YouTube privacy, please refer to its privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
